... On Dissapointment and Dissonance.

--The big screen lights up and fans there are scattered cheers in the crowd when they see Matt sitting in the locker room, speaking to Jenna--

Jenna: As you can see, I'm backstage with Matt Skee.

--Matt nods to Jenna and waves at the camera--

Matt: Hey, Jenna, Hey everyone out in T.V. land.

Jenna: So, Matt, last week you voiced some concerns about management giving you a title shot any time soon and then you were involved in the first ever Intercontinental Championship match. Were you surprised at that turn of events?

Matt: Oh yeah. I was dumbfounded. To be clear, in no way was I trying to coerce management into giving me a title shot... I watched the tape and it seemed like I was calling them out.. I wasn't, really... But, yeah, I was surprised to say the least.

Jenna: Any thoughts on the result of your match with JMac?

Matt: Well.. I'm disappointed, of course... Buuuuuut, I knew I would lose. I've been unsigned for a year. Fighting under the bright lights is different then fighting in a gym. I'm a bit rusty, a bit out of shape. It'll take a few shows to tighten the nuts and bolts. I'm not making excuses, just being honest. JMac is the better man. He smothered me, and I give him props for it.

Jenna: Have you heard that JMac is going to defend he title every week through the Pay-per-view?

Matt: Yeah, I heard that... Best of luck to him.

Jenna: Do you think you'll be challenging him again in the coming weeks?

Matt: Not through my own volition. JMac is better then me in every way at this point. There are only two scenarios in which I'll get in the ring with him again any time soon. One: if Neli wants to torture me and forces me to sign for another match with him, and two: If he and I were to team up. I wouldn't be opposed to that either. JMac is a good guy. He's won gracefully, and now he's out to silence any doubters. I respect that. He's just better then me, and there would be no reason for me to beat a dead horse, y'know?

Jenna: If you're stepping out of the Intercontinental hunt what are you planning on doing?

Matt: I dunno. Thats up to Neli. But I'll let JMac have his fun, sit back, train a bit, and have some more exciting matches with guys that are a bit closer to me skill-wise.

Jenna: Do you have a match tonight?

Matt: Yeah. I'm fighting Tike, the Light-Heavyweight champ... Non title fight, though.

Jenna: Any thoughts?

Matt: Not takin' anything away from Tike. He's the champ, and he's the champ for a reason. However, I'm not gonna be as rusty this week. I know what I did wrong, and I know how to fix it. If Tike thinks that because he's the champ, and because I lost last week, that he's got an easy fight ahead of him, he's dead wrong. I predict Tike'll be tapping before the nights over.

Jenna: Thanks for speaking with me, Matt! Andrew, Blake, back to you!
